Hi friends! Happy Friday! I hope you’re having a wonderful morning. I’m off to the eye doctor today and am crossing my fingers to get the all clear to start wearing contacts again. It’s been a bit hard to function in glasses for the past five weeks so I’m really, really hoping I’ll be able to wear my contacts, even just for a few hours each day.

We are back in Tucson after 12 days in Europe and it.was.magical. I’ll be posting a full recap of our trip, so stay tuned for all of the details! I’ll prob split it into two posts: Rome and the 7-night Italy and Greece Disney cruise. If you have any questions I can answer or include in my post(s), please let me know.

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section.

Community Detox Coming July 10th

If you feel like you’re ready for a little reset, join us for a community detox starting on July 10th. This is my 4th time completing the detox and it’s something I do quarterly in my routine to help remove toxicities, restore deficiencies, improve my sleep, energy, and digestion. I always feel like a million bucks when it’s over!

SO many of you joined me last time, so I wanted to invite you to join in if you’d like to go for another round. The fun starts July 10, so you can order your kit now and you’ll be ready to go. (Use FITNESSISTA10)

Here’s more about this 7-day detox:

– It’s a liver-based detox to help reset your body, provide a break from digesting heavy foods, and potentially help your body eliminate toxins that we accumulate from our environment. It includes functional medicine ingredients and Ayurvedic herbs to support phase 1 and 2 liver detoxification.

– It’s nutrition-focused. It includes the POWERHOUSE Daily Nutritional Support powder (which I’ve had in my smoothies for many months and notice a difference in how I feel when I drink this smoothie), and meal guidelines for the remaining meals. The goal is to NOT have your body depleted of nutrients during the process.

– It can potentially help with weight loss along with anti-aging, and total body wellness.

– It’s only 7 days! When I first started working with a naturopath (back in the old days! It was like 2010), he had me do a month-long deto

Green juice chat

Hi friends! How was the weekend? I hope you had a wonderful one. Ours was filled with events – a very typical Maycember – but lots of fun time with friends and family. We had a birthday party, graduation party, dance party, and I taught a couple of classes.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a little catch-up post around here. While I wish I could have a green juice or coffee with you in real life, virtual will have to do for now. 🙂 So please grab a green juice or coffee, let’s share a giant pastry, and catch up a bit on life!

If we were having green juice right now…

I’d ask you about summer plans! I always love to hear what you’re up to over the summer, camps the kiddos are doing, and if you have upcoming travels.

I’d also tell you about our upcoming trip to Italy and Greece! I’m SO so looking forward to it (the scenery! the food! the SHOPPING) and the kiddos can’t wait, too. If you have any tips for jet lag, please send them my way lol.

Also, I’m having the hardest time finding sandals with a strap that don’t look like old lady sandals or toddler shoes. If you have any Europe sandals (with a heel strap) that are comfy for all day walking and still stylish, pleeeeease lmk. I don’t want to go the Birks or Tevas route, and am just looking for something neutral, comfy and cute! I’ll be wearing these unicorn sandals and my white Vivobarefoots while we walk around and explore.

If we were having green juice right now, I’d tell ya that I’m thisclose to finishing my Integrative Health Practitioner Level 2 certification and am so pumped about it. I could have blasted through the material and finished quickly, but I wanted to make sure I absorbed as much as possible and truly learned everything I could. I’ll also repeat modules to review material later on because it’s a LOT. I can’t wait to put this into practice, interpret real-life test results, and help clients and friends make some incredible and positive life changes.

I’d also probably tell ya about a program that I’ve been working on, and will be sharing later this summer/ early fall / when it’s finished. It really is the whole package and it’s something I wish would have existed when I was in the depths of my health journey. When I wanted to nap all day, couldn’t wake up in the morning, depending on sugar, had horrible anxiety, I wish this would have existed.

I’ll share more soon, but it’s going to be geared towards moms who feel completely burned out and want

Sakara Life Review and Is It Worth It?

Web Admin 0 329 Article rating: No rating

Sakara Life is a meal delivery service with chef-designed recipes, organic ingredients, and plant-based meals. Here is my honest Sakara Life review and if it’s worth it. Does Sakara Life deliver tasty, healthy meals? Or is it another diet scam? Are the meals tasty?

This post is not sponsored, but you can use the code XOGINAH for 20% off meals and clean boutique products!

For today’s post, I wanted to share my review of Sakara Life now that I’ve had the chance to try it! TBH, I lurked Sakara for yearrrrssss. I debated trying their meal delivery and every time I went to order, I got sticker shock and x’ed it out. I just couldn’t justify the cost, especially when I know how to make many of these things myself. However, life is a little different right now. Things have been so crazy with juggling my workload while somehow teaching Liv and managing her school assignments and online classes, all of the regular household to-dos, and keeping P entertained and from injuring herself. It’s a circus around here, as I’m sure many of you can relate.

I’ve been eating a lot of chocolate chips out of the bag. I’ve had a lot more wine and a lot fewer veggies. (Thank goodness for Daily Harvest because they’ve been the most convenient method for me to scarf down a daytime meal lately.) I tried to do more meal prepping for a bit but on the days I got busy and didn’t have time to cook or prep anything, I felt discouraged.

I decided to treat myself to convenience and some healthy, delicious eats, so I figured I’d give Sakara Life a try after all this time!

And you guys, I looooooved it. I’m so excited to share my thoughts below. (Heads up that this isn’t sponsored and my box wasn’t gifted; I just finally decided to go for it.)
