I’m giving away two $500 Amazon gift cards today to celebrate Black Friday – be sure to follow me on IG for the details!

Hi friends! How are you? I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving! We’re here in Arkansas with the Pilot’s mom, sis, and our niece and nephew. It’s our first time spending Thanksgiving out here in years, and it’s such a treat to have some time together. The girls were so excited to make a trip out here and are blown away by the trees and greenery. It’s a stark contrast from our lovely brown and cactus-filled Tucson desert.

The Pilot was visiting his dad this week, who lives in Atlanta, so the girls and I flew out super early Thanksgiving morning and he flew from Atlanta to meet us in Little Rock. We rented a super cute lake house for the long weekend and are looking forward to movies, hikes, and exploring.

Hi friends! Happiest Thanksgiving to you. There is so much to be thankful for this year: especially family, friends, good health, and all of YOU. I’m so thankful for you each and every single day.

I don’t take a second of my *job* for granted, and I wake up each morning thrilled that I get to connect with you in this space. You’ve helped me create the positive, uplifting, encouraging lil spot of the internet it’s become. I get to support our family while being home with our babies, and while I could never define my ideal career, this is it.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy Thanksgiving, filled with fun times and memories, and lots of delicious food.

I’ll see you tomorrow!
xo

Gluten-free Thanksgiving Menu

Sharing a full Thanksgiving menu that’s entirely gluten-free! Check out the details below.

Hi friends! How’s the week going? I hope you’re having a great one so far. I’m here cranking through work and really, really looking forward to Thanksgiving next week – my favorite holiday!

Thanksgiving is almost always celebrated with an elaborate spread of food, desserts, and drinks, and some traditional Thanksgiving dishes, such as gravy, stuffing, casserole, etc. may contain gluten. Some members of your family (or you!) may have gluten intolerances or may be gluten-free. Planning a gluten-free Thanksgiving menu may seem daunting, but how there are plenty of gluten-free dishes you can prepare that are just as good as any traditional Thanksgiving recipes. Today, I’m sharing a gluten-free Thanksgiving menu to help you create a spread everyone can enjoy!

*Note: if any family members are Celiac, please be extra mindful of cross-contamination.

Here is a roundup of delicious meals that you can enjoy on Thanksgiving – all of these are gluten-free, and many of them are vegan, too!

The Best Thanksgiving Turkey in all the land

The turkey is the star of the show, and while it can seem daunting, it’s really super easy with this foolproof brine recipe. It makes the turkey super moist and delicious!!

The easiest turkey gravy

This recipe is not designed to be gluten-free, but just swap out the flour for your favorite gluten-free flour. I love Bob’s Red Mill 1:1 baking blend.

Looking back on 2022 and my goals for 2023

TBH I’m always a little hesitant to write this type of post after I dubbed 2020 the “year of travel” but here we go….

Hi friends! Happy Monday and HAPPY NEW YEAR! *throws confetti into the air* I’m back and feeling refreshed after some time with the fam. We got together with friends, watched movies, enjoyed some girl time (pedicures, boba teas, shopping, baking), and are back in the swing of things this week. I hope you had a wonderful blurry week between Christmas and New Years, and hope you had a safe and happy New Years’ celebration.

(New Years Eve at the Desert Museum)

For today’s post, I thought it would be a good time to look back on the year, assess how I did with my goals, and set some goals for 2023.

I tend to have mixed feelings about resolutions. I’m the type of person who often thinks, “If you want to change something, change it now, instead of waiting for the pressure of a looming date or holiday,” but at the same time, there’s something exciting and motivating about a bright, shiny, new year.

I make changes and set goals throughout the year, but this is the time that I usually set big business and financial goals, health and personal goals, and brainstorm a theme for the year: a mantra I can keep in mind when things feel challenging or tough. My mantra for this year is “gratitude.” Having a daily gratitude practice has made a big impact in my mood and mindset.

Here’s a lil recap of what went down in 2022.

I’m SO thankful that we were able to travel more this year! We went to some of our favorite places, like Mt. Lemmon, Great Wolf Lodge (a few times), San Diego, Disneyland, Read more

Sharing the top posts and pages of 2022!

Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a Merry Christmas to those who were celebrating!

Some pics from our holly jolly weekend:

It was the perfect weekend and I’m already sad that today we’ll be packing away decorations. The holiday season always goes by too quickly, but this year was warp speed. Welp, bring on spring and summer swimming and BBQ season 😉

For today’s post, I wanted to share the top posts and pages of 2022. I always love going back and looking at my top-performing posts to give me an idea of the type of content you want to see. I used this info to plan my editorial calendar, along with your amazing annual survey suggestions. It’s always interesting to see which posts blow it out of the water (which usually have nothing to do with food, fitness, or fashion.. but more like potty training and guinea pigs lol). This year I was surprised! WAY more fitness and health cont
