WAIW (a full day of eats)

Hi friends! How’s the week going so far? I’m so happy ya’ll enjoyed the home office post. I’m super happy with my walking pad and am on it while I write up this blog post.

For today’s post, I thought I’d do another round of eats from start to finish especially since I’ve really been working on emphasizing protein and fiber lately. (I got away from it for a while but am back to tracking and notice a difference in how I feel + my performance at the gym.)

Here’s a full day of eats and adventures from start to finish!

As always, keep in mind that while this is a day of eats for ME, it may look nothing like how you like to fuel yourself, your specific needs/preferences, and if it would align with your goals. This is why it can be helpful to work with a coach to help you determine habits and methods that support your lifestyle, unique needs, and preferences. Just sharing this to hopefully share some new meal ideas and what 100+ grams of protein looks like in a day.

6:30am I wake up and do some grounding without my glasses while I take Maisey outside. I make some Athletic Greens and take it upstairs to drink while I wake up the crew, get dressed, and then head downstairs to pack up lunches, snacks and waters. I break off half an Aloha bar and eat it while I’m driving.

9:30 I’m back from school drop-off and an F45 class (hybrid day) and make breakfast. 2 eggs, 4 oz leftover flank steak from dinner and leftover fajita veggies, strawberries, decaf coffee with almond milk and 1/2 scoop Paleovalley protein. I also have some creatine in my water.

After I finish breakfast, it’s work blitz time. I make graphics and add to Pinterest, post a reel, write two blog posts, answer emails, and write + send questions for an upcoming podcast interview.

Noon: lunch! I make some tuna salad with a can of Safecatch tuna, 2 tablespoons of Primal Kitchen dressing, EBTB seasoning and top it on two rice cakes with sriracha. I add a pack of Poshi asparagus (my fave for when I want a serving of veggies but haven’t cooked anything) and a pack of Lupini beans. Both of these snacks are from Thrive Market – I order pretty much all of our snacks, household goodies, cleaning supplies, and pantry staples from Thrive.

Sharing a full fay of eats from start to finish.

Hi friends! How are you? I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, whether you were celebrating with your love, your Galentines, your kiddos, or your pet 🙂 For today’s post, I thought I’d share an old-school day of eats and adventures like the blog days of yore. Please keep in mind that What I Ate Wednesday posts are just to share some new ideas and I totally understand why they can be problematic or not a fit for certain friends out there. If it’s not your cup of tea, no worries at all, and I’ll see ya tomorrow with a new podcast episode!

In the meantime, sign up for Spring Shape Up here and start checking out the platform! We have over 200 friends signed up so far and I can’t wait to do this with all of you.

The girls woke up early and had their Valentine’s baskets waiting for them.

(Candy, beanie boos, a cute heart sweater, a book, some bath bombs and lip gloss. They were pumped!)

When the girls were much younger and I saw gift baskets for every.single.holiday, it made me feel stressed. I was just trying to keep them alive, clean, fed, and happy, so things like Halloween baskets or Valentine’s baskets seemed unfathomable to put together. Instead, I just tried to do other things to celebrate, like hearts on their door with things that I love about them. I still do this one today and the girls adore it – they keep the hearts up all year.

Now that they’re a bit older and can, you know, dress themselves, shower themselves, etc., it’s much easier to do fun little extra things when I feel like it.

I chugged some AG1 before heading out the door and ate a couple of eggs with sriracha and EBTB seasoning.

(Confession: I’ve only tried AG1 a couple of times in the past and didn’t like the taste. The brand asked me if I wanted some to test out, so I figured I’d give it a real try and possibly share with family and friends. Turns out: I love it. I even started craving the taste in the morning after drinking it consistently. I love all of the nutrients and I feel great after a couple of weeks of drinking it each morning on an empty stom

Sharing a whole day of eats from start to finish.

Hey hey! Happy humpday! What’s going on this morning? I have 1:1 calls all morning and getting a podcast episode edited and ready to go. I hope you have a lovely day ahead.

For today’s post, I thought I’d share a WIAW (What I Ate Wednesday) since it’s been a while. I always love getting healthy meal inspiration from friends, so I like to share these posts for an idea of what a typical day of eats looks like. I can understand why these types of posts may not be helpful for everyone (sharing my thoughts on that here!) but I tried some a couple of new recipes and am excited to share them with ya.

Here’s what a full day of recent eats looked like from start to finish! (I took these pics a couple of weeks ago but am just sharing them now! The kids weren’t at camp this particular week, so I was juggling work stuff in between making sure they were happy, fed, and entertained. The Pilot was also out of town for work so I was doing the solo parenting thing. I also let them watch some extra TV while I got things done, let’s be real.)

8:20am

I slept in until 8 (summer, I love youuuuuuuuuuuu) and then started my day with a large glass of water with Sakara Beauty drops (minerals that are completely tasteless. I like adding these to my water since I filter it with the Berkey, and my stress level is a bit higher lately, which can deplete minerals)

Since it was a busy morning work-wise, I had a Bulletproof bar and a cup of coffee (decaf with raw milk, Stevia, and collagen), probiotics/digestive enzymes from Sakara and made the kids a quick breakfast. I sat at the kitchen table with my computer and helped the kids while they worked on their summer packets.

10:15am

Watered the plants and had the rest of my breakfast:

2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of turkey bacon, and a reheated Super Hero muffin from this cookbook. These muffins are SO good and the kids loved helping me make them. Whenever we make breakfast staples, I try to make a double batch and freeze them for quick options.

I sat by the pool writing while the kids swam, hopped in for a bit to cool off and play, and took two 1:1 coaching calls upstairs while the kids dried off and ate their lunch.
