Hi friends! How are you? I hope you’re having an amazing week. It’s a busy one around here – we have rehearals for the symphony all week – and I was able to sneak away for a juice date with a friend in between strategy calls.

For today’s post, I wanted to chat a bit about Lumebox now that I’ve been using it for a few weeks. It’s been one of my favorite things to stack into my morning wellness routine, and I love it even more than I thought I would.

Here’s what my current routine looks like:

– Eye care routine

– Get the kids packed up and off to school

– Breakfast – almost always a protein pudding with Daily Nutritional Support, Truvani, Nuttzo and berries + decaf Danger Coffee

– Recharge time: sit on the PEMF mat (code FITNESSISTA15) with my Lumebox, meditate for about 10 minutes, and journal for about 5 minutes

It’s only a 15-minute routine but really makes a difference in my mood and energy for the rest of the day! Here are some more details about Lumebox.

HigherDOSE Red Light Hat Review

Red light therapy has grown exponentially as a wellness trend and is going to continue to surge in popularity. I think friends are seeing how easy it is to implement red light therapy into a daily health routine, and there are so many potential benefits. I’m a huge fan of my red light face mask and red light neck enhancer, and the new HigherDOSE red light hat is a convenient biohacking tool that my busy friends out there can use to support their hair growth and scalp health.

It’s so easy for me to wear this hat around because it looks like a regular ol’ baseball cap! The power is hidden underneath.  In this post, I’m going to share a full HigherDOSE red light hat review and how you can use this at-home red light therapy in your own routine.

The HigherDOSE Red Light Hat uses 650nm red light and is designed to increase blood circulation to the scalp, which can potentially help with hair loss, optimized hair follicle function, and increased growth. It’s designed to be worn for 10 minutes, which makes it super easy to use on a regular basis. Plus, it looks cute!

Sharing some of the best gadgets I tried at the Biohacking Conference, plus some things you can do at home.

Hi friends! I hope that you’re having a wonderful week! Liv and I are getting our nails done (P is at camp) and we’ll all be swimming and hanging out today.

For today’s post, I wanted to share some of my favorite new products I tried at the Biohacking conference, plus some things you can do at home.

Gadgets I tried at the Biohacking Conference

The Tech Wonderland at the Biohacking Conference was literally a WONDERLAND. It was packed with so many amazing things, like saunas, red light, PEMF, IV infusions, coffee, food, supplements, cold plunges – basically anything you could ever want for your at-home health routine.

I was there with my friend Giselle, and we had a blast trying and doing all the things.

Here are some of my favorite things we tried:

BallancerPRO

The BallancerPRO is a state-of-the-art lymphatic drainage massage system designed to improve circulation, reduce swelling, and enhance overall body contouring. Utilizing advanced compression technology, it works by gently applying pressure to different parts of the body, promoting lymphatic flow and the removal of toxins. Regular use of BallancerPRO can lead to improved skin tone, reduced cellulite, and a boost in overall energy levels.

Cera

Cera is a high-tech wellness device focused on enhancing brain function and mental clarity. CERA is the first FDA-listed device to support the Gut-Brain Axis with photobiomodulation. It can stimulate brain activity, improve focus, and can support cognitive health. Users often experience benefits such as reduced stress, better sleep quality, and enhanced mental performance after consistent use of the Cera devices, which you can use for gut and brain wellness.

Pure Wave

Pure Wave is a VEMI (Vibroaccoustic eletromagnetic infrared) biosynchronizer bed designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. By emitting electromagnetic waves that interact with the body’s cells, the Pure Wave bed helps to improve cellular health, boost mood, and support recovery. Regular sessions on the Pure Wave bed can lead to deeper meditation, better sleep, and a heightened sense of calm and balance.

What I learned at Dave Asprey’s Biohacking Conference

Web Admin 0 352 Article rating: No rating

This post is about what I learned at the Biohacking Conference, hosted by Dave Asprey, in Dallas, TX. I’m grateful that a media pass was provided to attend this amazing experience. You can read my first review about the Biohacking Conference here.

(and yes, this includes things you can do at home!)

Hi friends! How is the weekend going? We’re in full dance recital mode over here. Don’t forget to head over to this week’s giveaway!

Today, I wanted to share a recap of some of the top things I learned from the Biohacking Conference. As you can imagine, I learned a LOT, and felt like my brain was buzzing for days afterwards. I’ve finally had a chance to let everything simmer, and time to sort through the 19 pages of notes. Of course, I can’t share EVERYTHING here on the blog – you need to go in person!! – but here are some of my favorite points from some of the talks I attended while I was there. (I could post so much more but like I said, you really have to go in person!)

What I learned at Dave Asprey’s Biohacking Conference

The End of Mental Illness with Dr. Daniel Amen

I’ve been a huge fan of Dr. Amen for years and years, so I was thrilled for the opportunity to learn from him in person. During his talk, he shared that psychiatry is the only medical industry that doesn’t actually look at the organ itself before prescribing medication. If you have heart issues, they take an image. If you have kidney pain, they take an image. With your brain, they take an educated guess, and prescribe medication without actually looking at your brain.

At his clinic, they perform SPECT scans that enable providers to look at the surface of the brain, blood flow, and brain activitity. It’s pretty fascinating – they have a new clinic in Scottsdale! – and it was incredible to see images of brains that were healed after trauma, drug use, OCD, etc. through lifestyle, supplements, and medication, if it was actually needed.

The main message of his talk was that you can heal your brain, and you’re not stuck with the brain you currently have.

Factors that HURT your brain:

– Altered blood flow, through things like high blood pressure, caffeine, sedentary lives, low choresterol, nicotine, caffeine

– Head trauma

– Retirement/aging – no longer having a purpose, or suffering from lonliness

– Toxicity – alcohol, mold, heavy metals, THC, drugs, products

– What he refers to as “diabesity”: high blood sugar, pre-diabetes, diabetes, being overweight or obese

– Inflammation- from proces

Dave Asprey’s Biohacking Conference Review

This post is a full review of my experience at the Biohacking Conference, hosted by Dave Asprey, in Dallas, TX. I’m grateful that a media VIP pass was provided to attend this amazing experience.

Hi friends! How are you? I hope that you’re having a wonderful morning so far! I’m back in Tucson after an inspiring and transformational trip to Texas last week to attend the Biohacking Conference.

To be totally honest, I’ve been feeling pretty blah about fitness and health conferences lately. There hasn’t been anything that’s caught my eye, and usually conferences are a chance to learn more about what’s happening in our industry, and light a fire of inspiration. Conferences can be expensive in terms of travel, attendance, childcare, hotel, etc., and I haven’t seen anything that looked particularly worth it lately.

Then, I was ad targeted for the Biohacking Conference, hosted by Dave Asprey, and I immediately knew that I wanted to go. The lineup of speakers included so many of my favorites, and I’m a huge fan of Dave.

Needless to say, I was so thrilled when they offered a media pass to attend. While my attendance was provided, please note that this post isn’t sponsored and all opinions are my own.

Also, I have SO MUCH to say, so I’m going to be splitting this into three separate posts and a podcast episode!

1) My review of the actual conference and if I think attendance is worth it (this post)

2) A list of takeaways and the things I learned from the various sessions (blog post coming later this week and podcast will air next week)

3) My favorite gadgets from the conference, including biohacking strategies you can do at home for low cost, or for free (coming early next week)
