Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope you had a lovely one! We escaped for some beach time, Kleiger fam time and cooler weather in San Diego – it was perfect. The week ended with a little golf tournament fun with friends, an afternoon at the pool,

and watching the Wildcats win!

I’d love to hear what you have going on!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves roundup. I always love hearing about your faves from the week and around the web, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.

Fashion, beauty, random:

San Diego!! We hopped on a non-rev flight and had two FULL days in one of our favorite places. We landed by 7am (WHEW) and were in the Better Buzz drive thru by 8:15. Not.too.shabby.

We also got gluten-free donuts and pastries from Phatties and they were everything. A little on the dense side (which I honestly love) and so fresh and sweet. We’ll definitely be back!

We knew we’d have a while until our hotel room was ready, so we went to Mission beach. The weather was a dream.

P loved playing catch with us and running in the waves, and Liv and I also spent lots of time relaxing on the beach blanket. After our 3:45 wakeup, I may or may not have fallen asleep on the beach and got a liiiittle sunburned.

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How are you? What are you up to this weekend? I hope that all of my friends in the winter storm’s path stay safe and cozy. This weekend, we have an NCL event at the food bank, a date night (!), and a barre class. I’m also wrangling these little pups in between working through some IHP modules.

Last week, I had an amazing little trip to San Diego for our mastermind. We have events a few times each year, and I always look forward for the opportunity to brainstrom and share ideas, and learn from Jill. I was particularly excited for this one because it was an excuse to see my bestie Betsy and catch up with her.

My flight purposefully got in very early on Wednesday so I’d have some time to chill before the events. It has been pure chaos over here with little Lola – she’s SO sweet but man, puppies are definitely a lot of work lol – so I headed directly to Betsy’s. I got to see her before she headed off to work for the day, and I was able to use her house as a hub before our hotel check-in.

I grabbed coffee at Better Buzz and took it to Mission for an hour-long blissful walk by the ocean. Lunch was takeout from Tender Greens, which I took to Betsy’s to enjoy before some 1:1 client calls.

When Betsy got home, we took a Lagree class (the best!!):

Hi friends! Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? We have a wild one ahead: a school event, two volleyball games for Liv, one basketball game for P, a tailgate for the U of A, and family dinner at our house. Tons of fun stuff, but the back-to-school chaos is in full swing.

We started off the week in San Diego and went for the long weekend. It was everything my heart could have wished for: tons of beach time, time with our Kleiger fam, delicious food, and coller weather. It’s definitely one of our favorite spots for a reason!

Christmas Brunch and Dinner Recipes

Sharing some ideas for Christmas brunch and dinner recipes.

This year is flying back at warp speed, and I’m trying to do everything in my power to avoid the last-minute scramble. I started Christmas shopping early – I feel like it’s less of a hit on the budget when you space things out, too! – and am trying to plan and prep as much as I can. Last year, I had prepped a ton for Christmas dinner and it felt like huge treat. I think as moms, we have a lot of the to-dos on our shoulders, and the holiday season isn’t as fun if you spend it stressed and overwhelmed.

Christmas Brunch and Dinner Recipes

Since I was brainstorming ideas for Christmas brunch and dinner (both are at our house), I thought I’d share some sample recipes if you’re looking to prep in advance, too! Worth mentioning here that I get all of the meat for our holiday feasts from Butcher Box. They have beef tenderloin, turkeys, salmon, and it’s all great quality.

What I’m Cooking for Christmas

Smoked turkey on the Traeger

Cranberry sauce

Beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce

Artichoke dip and crackers

A massive cheese board (I take food styling serious when it comes to a cheese board!)

Mashed sweet potatoes

Autumn salad with apples, feta, spiced walnuts and balsamic dressing

Homemade sourdough (made ahead and frozen)

Christmas cookies (I start baking early and just freeze everything! We usually do these thumbprint cookies, Mexican wedding cookies, peppermint bark, peanut butter blossoms, and Read more

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? Ours was a whirlwind, but SO much fun.

I had our choir performance last Friday, drove Liv to Phoenix for her dance competition early Saturday morning, spent the night, the Pilot and I P drove up, I rushed home for our Sunday performance while they stayed in Phoenix for Day 2 of dance competition,

I took the shuttle from Tucson to Phoenix early Monday morning, they swooped me at the airport, we drove to Anaheim for Disney fun for a couple of days, then to San Diego for a couple of days. We’re finally back home after a super fun adventure and spring break!

It definitely felt good to sleep in our bed last night and I’m looking forward to a low-key Easter weekend with the fam. I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.
