Hi friends! Happy Friday! How are you? What are you up to this weekend? I hope that all of my friends in the winter storm’s path stay safe and cozy. This weekend, we have an NCL event at the food bank, a date night (!), and a barre class. I’m also wrangling these little pups in between working through some IHP modules.

Last week, I had an amazing little trip to San Diego for our mastermind. We have events a few times each year, and I always look forward for the opportunity to brainstrom and share ideas, and learn from Jill. I was particularly excited for this one because it was an excuse to see my bestie Betsy and catch up with her.

My flight purposefully got in very early on Wednesday so I’d have some time to chill before the events. It has been pure chaos over here with little Lola – she’s SO sweet but man, puppies are definitely a lot of work lol – so I headed directly to Betsy’s. I got to see her before she headed off to work for the day, and I was able to use her house as a hub before our hotel check-in.

I grabbed coffee at Better Buzz and took it to Mission for an hour-long blissful walk by the ocean. Lunch was takeout from Tender Greens, which I took to Betsy’s to enjoy before some 1:1 client calls.

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How are you? What are you up to this weekend?

We’re just hanging out here and home and I’m looking forward to a low-key weekend after lots of holiday activities and adventures. It’s suddenly winter here in Tucson – rainy and freezing!- and we’re enjoying lots of puppy snuggles in between trying to keep Lola from destroying all of the furniture.

Liv turned 14 yesterday and I can’t even believe it. Thank you so so much to my OG reader friends who have been there since the early days. I had a couple of you reach out on Instagram yesterday to tell me you were reading the blog while I was shaking it teaching Zumba with her in my belly. It really feels like yesterday and 14 lifetimes ago at the same time.

I post less of the kids here on the blog – I ask for permission before I post anything – but she’s the wittiest, sweetest girl with a heart of gold. She’s also obsessed with K Pop, which is a big reason why we’re going to Seoul this summer. We just had cake here at the house since we’re heading to San Diego and Disney next week to celebrate!

We had so many fun events this past week. It was a friend’s birthday dinner, I had dinner at a friend’s house (she made amazing salads and we just hung out and chatted) and we had a holiday party for charity organization that the Pilot belongs to. It’s our first year and everyone was so welcoming and lovely.

(I had a huge outfit scramble but ended up wearing this! We don’t have a Nordstrom here in Tucson – major sad face – but I can usually find good stuff last-minute at Dillard’s)

We had our annual Four Christmases wrapping party, our Christmas tree is completely dried up and dead (it’s the second year this has happened! It’s taken zero water this entire time), and I’m almost done with holiday baking. We take cookie tins to our neighbors every year.

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? It was a great one over here, but it always blows my mind how quickly December starts to fly by. I can’t believe it’s less than two weeks until Christmas and while I’ve checked out a majority of my list, there’s still a lot to do.

In between everything, we’re trying to make time for holly jolly fun: a night at Winterhaven, our annual Christmas at the Princess trip, baking cookies and watching holiday movies. Hi friends! Happy weekend to ya! I’m posting my Friday Faves roundup a little late this week because it’s been a wild one. I took Liv and one of her best friends to the Katseye concert in Phoenix,

(the girls had a BLAST)

and then my niece was dropped off for a sleepover while her parents enjoyed a much-needed date night. We loved having her here so much. Ok, everyone except Maisey. She was very stressed that someone else was getting more attention than her lol.

She slept like an angel in the pack n’ play in our room, and the girls had so much fun with her here. They already asked if it can become a weekly thing.

We got our Christmas tree last night, watched Home Alone and ate pizza,
